We’ll be recording through Riverside.fm, which works best on a desktop or laptop using Google Chrome

Please don’t use Safari or a mobile device, as it can cause issues with audio and video.

Use headphones (even basic ones) to reduce echo and audio bleed.

A mic is helpful but not mandatory, your built-in mic is fine if you're in a quiet space. Just keep your hair and clothing from rubbing against it if it's on your headphones.

Try to record in a quiet room without distractions or background noise.

Make sure your WiFi is strong

We'll be recording video, so try to face a window or light source.

Prop your camera or laptop at eye level so we’re not looking up your nose or down at your forehead.

This is just a conversation. I’ll guide us through the topics and ask follow-up questions as we go. No need to prep a script. Just bring your real-life experiences and insights.

I may or may not send you a general outline of topics we'll cover. The best conversations usually flow organically without a script, but if I feel like some prep would be helpful for what we'll be discussing, I'll let you know.

Need to rephrase something? Want to go off the record for a second? No problem. We can edit out anything that doesn’t feel right.
